Thunchathezhuthachan College is a self-financing Arts and Science college, affiliated to the University of Calicut. The college is promoted, owned and managed by Ezhuthachan Educational Society for Human Resource Development. The college which had made a humble start with just two degree programmes in 2003 now proudly functions with seven degree and two postgraduate programmes.
Programmes of study in Science, Commerce and Arts are offered keeping in mind the relevance and importance with the current trend. The vibrant team of staff and motivated student community work in coordination that it meets the vision and mission set by the management.
Located on the ThrissurGovindapuram State highway, midway between Nemmara and Kollengode town. Situated in a beautiful serene locality, surrounded by landscape comprising of paddy fields and backdrop as ranges of the western ghats, the college provides an ideal atmosphere for learning.
The College was elevated to the status of PG institution in 2012, with the introduction of M.Com and M.Sc. Information Technology followed by M.Sc. Computer Science in 2014.

The aim of National Service Scheme is to promote among students the spirit of service to fellowmen, society, adult education, free medical aid to the poor housing scheme and rural uplift are some of the important programmes under the scheme.
The college has one unit of NSS with a membership of 100 students. The NSS unit organizes seven days special camp and a series of regular activities every year. They also take part as volunteers for different social connect programmes conducted by different government departments & organizations.
